n8n Enterprise Plan Price and Team Plans Explained (2026)

n8n enterprise plan price and team plans for 2026: what Starter, Pro, Business and Enterprise include, which features each gates, and lean setups for teams.

Quick answer

n8n's Enterprise plan has no published price: it is quoted by sales and scales with executions. Below it, Starter is 20 euros, Pro 50 euros and Business 667 euros a month, billed annually, all with unlimited users. Business adds SSO, environments and Git; Enterprise adds secret stores, log streaming and an SLA. Small teams often run Community Edition or Pro with CLI exports to Git instead.

The n8n Enterprise plan price is not published: Enterprise is quoted by sales, and n8n says its pricing scales with workflow executions rather than workflow count. The published plans below it are Starter at 20 euros, Pro from 50 euros and Business at 667 euros a month, billed annually, and every plan includes unlimited users. The real question for a team is which features you need, because SSO, environments and Git version control start at Business.

Checked October 2026 against n8n's pricing page and its FAQ, and n8n's docs on roles and source control and environments. Prices are in euros as n8n lists them and change over time.

n8n charges for full workflow executions, not for each step, so a 20-node workflow that runs once counts as one execution. Its FAQ says executions and AI credits reset on the 1st of each month, regardless of your billing date. Monthly billing is also available; the figures above are n8n's annual prices.

What each plan gates

Since users are unlimited on every plan, the upgrade triggers are features and scale. This table lists where n8n's pricing page first shows each team-related feature:

Log streamingEnterpriseEnterprise only
Dedicated support with SLAEnterpriseEnterprise only

The jump from Pro to Business is the big one, both in price and in what you get: SSO and LDAP, multiple environments, queue mode and Git-based version control arrive together. Enterprise then adds governance features: external secret stores, log streaming, extended data retention, 365 days of insights and support with an SLA.

n8n team plan: projects and roles

Teams in n8n organise work into projects. Shared projects let a group own workflows and credentials together; the pricing page lists 1 shared project on Starter, 3 on Pro, 6 on Business and unlimited on Enterprise. Inside a project, n8n's docs describe three roles: Admin, Editor and Viewer, and a person can hold different roles in different projects. Some project roles are only available on certain plans, so check the roles page against your plan before designing access.

n8n SSO for enterprise: Business vs Enterprise

If single sign-on is a requirement, the minimum is Business, which lists SSO and LDAP. Organisations with formal compliance needs usually also need what Enterprise adds: secrets held in an external store rather than in n8n, logs streamed to their own monitoring, longer data retention, and an SLA. n8n positions Business for companies under 100 employees needing collaboration and scale, and Enterprise for organisations with strict compliance and governance needs.

Business is enough when
  • You need SSO or LDAP
  • You want dev and production environments
  • Git version control is required
  • 40,000 executions a month covers you
  • Forum support is acceptable
Enterprise is needed when
  • Secrets must live in an external vault
  • Logs must stream to your SIEM
  • You need long data and insight retention
  • You need more than 6 shared projects
  • You need an SLA

Cheaper patterns for small teams

Many small teams do not need Business features on day one. A practical setup uses one instance, Git for history, and a staging area for testing:

A lean team setup
  1. 1
    Pick the base

Self-hosted Community Edition, or Pro on n8n Cloud for less maintenance.

  2. 2
    Organise by project or folder

Keep production workflows separate from experiments.

  3. 3
    Export workflows to Git

Use the n8n CLI export with the backup flag on a schedule (self-hosted).

  4. 4
    Test in a staging copy

Duplicate a workflow, test changes, then replace the live one.

  5. 5
    Upgrade on a trigger

SSO requirement, audit needs, or execution limits.

The CLI route gives you history and backups without built-in environments. It is more manual, and the n8n docs note that imports overwrite workflows with matching IDs, so it suits teams where one person owns deployment. Our guide to n8n version control covers both the built-in and CLI approaches in detail.

For those line items, see our breakdown of n8n self-hosted costs.

Estimating how many executions you need

Because every plan is priced on executions, a quick estimate tells you which tier fits before you think about features. List each production workflow, how it is triggered, and how often it runs:

  • Scheduled workflows: runs per day multiplied by about 30. A workflow that runs every 15 minutes is roughly 2,880 executions a month on its own.
  • Webhook and app triggers: one execution per incoming event, so estimate from form submissions, orders or messages per month.
  • Sub-workflows: check how your plan counts workflows called by other workflows in n8n's pricing FAQ before assuming they are free.

Polling triggers that check for new data on a timer are the usual surprise: a check every minute adds up fast even when nothing new arrives. Where an app supports webhooks, a webhook trigger usually uses far fewer executions than polling. n8n's pricing FAQ also explains how to add executions to a plan if you run over, which can be cheaper than jumping a whole tier.

Cloud or self-hosted for a team?

n8n offers both hosted cloud plans and self-hosted plans, and the Business plan is described as self-hosted. The choice is mostly about who runs the infrastructure. Cloud removes server work, updates and backups from your list. Self-hosting gives you control over data location, custom domains and network access, at the cost of maintaining the stack. Teams with a strict data-residency requirement often lean self-hosted; teams without an ops person usually find cloud simpler.

When to upgrade

  • Starter to Pro: you need more than 2,500 executions a month, more concurrency, admin roles or workflow history.
  • Pro to Business: SSO becomes a requirement, you want separate development and production environments, or you need Git-based version control and queue mode.
  • Business to Enterprise: security or compliance teams require external secrets, log streaming, longer retention or an SLA.

n8n Enterprise plan and team plans: FAQ

What is the n8n Enterprise plan price?

n8n does not publish a fixed Enterprise price. Its pricing page lists Enterprise with a custom number of workflow executions and asks you to contact sales, and n8n says Enterprise pricing scales with executions rather than workflow count. The published plans below it are Starter at 20 euros, Pro at 50 euros and Business at 667 euros a month, billed annually. Checked October 2026.

Does n8n charge per user?

No. n8n's pricing page says all plans include unlimited users and workflows and every integration, and that pricing is based on monthly workflow executions. What changes between plans is executions, concurrency, the number of shared projects, and features such as SSO, environments and log streaming.

Which n8n plan includes SSO?

SSO and LDAP start at the Business plan on n8n's pricing page. Enterprise adds external secret store integration, log streaming, extended data retention and dedicated support with an SLA. Starter and Pro do not list SSO. Checked October 2026.

Is the n8n Business plan cloud or self-hosted?

n8n describes Business as a self-hosted plan for growing teams, aimed at companies with fewer than 100 employees needing collaboration and scale. It includes 40,000 executions per month, SSO and LDAP, multiple environments, queue mode and version control using Git. Hosted options are covered by n8n Cloud plans.

What is a cheaper n8n setup for a small team?

Many small teams start with the free self-hosted Community Edition or a Pro plan, use one instance, and export workflows to Git with the n8n command line for history and backups. A second instance or folder of test workflows can act as staging. You upgrade when you need SSO, built-in environments or compliance features.

What counts as an execution in n8n?

n8n says it charges for full executions, not individual steps: a workflow run from start to finish counts once, however many nodes it has. Its pricing page says executions and AI credits reset on the 1st of each month, independent of billing date.
