The short version

The company says it has raised $240 million, was valued at $5.2 billion in May 2026, and counts more than 1,400 enterprise customers and 1.7 million monthly active developers and builders. Cloud plans start at €20 a month billed annually, and the self-hosted Community edition is free to use for internal business purposes. Estimates of the wider workflow automation market differ by a factor of two.

How to read this
There is no survey and no income data here. Every figure is a counter, a price or a statement that a named publisher makes about itself or its market.
Stars, pulls and downloads measure attention and distribution, not active use. A Docker pull is one download of the image, and one server can pull it many times.
Company figures are the company's. Funding, valuation, customers and monthly actives come from n8n's press page, its blog and a press release. None of those pages gives a revenue figure.
Units differ between vendors. n8n counts integrations, including trigger and core nodes, while Zapier and Make count apps. n8n bills an execution per workflow run, which is not the unit Zapier or Make bill.
Market sizes are estimates from paid reports. The two quoted here put 2025 at USD 11.63 billion and USD 23.77 billion. Mordor Intelligence's own page says published sizes for this market do not always line up, because each study draws the category boundary differently.

How many integrations does n8n have?
The n8n directory showed 2,368 integrations on 13 October 2026, a count that includes trigger and core nodes. For comparison, Zapier says it connects 9,000+ apps and Make lists 3,500+. n8n also has an HTTP Request node for services that are not in the directory.
How much does n8n cost?
On n8n Cloud, Starter is €20 a month and Pro is €50 a month, both billed annually, with 2.5K and 10K workflow executions. Business is €667 a month billed annually for 40K executions and is self-hosted only. Enterprise is priced by sales. The Cloud trial includes 1,000 executions and needs no credit card.
Is n8n free and open source?
The self-hosted Community edition is on GitHub and is free to use for internal business purposes and for non-commercial or personal use. It is not open source in the usual sense: n8n uses its own Sustainable Use License, a fair-code licence it created in 2022, which limits offering n8n to others commercially.
