Quick answer

To make AI influencer videos for free, create the persona's reference stills in a free image tool, animate them in Google Flow on its 50 free credits a day, and cut the clips in CapCut's free editor. Flow's published credit costs work out to three to seven short 720p clips a day. Kling and Hailuo do not hand free accounts daily credits, so use them only for tests, and check commercial-use terms before any sponsored post.

To make AI influencer videos for free, create your persona's reference stills in a free image tool, animate them in Google Flow with its 50 free credits a day, and cut the clips in CapCut's free editor. On Google's published credit costs that is three to seven short 720p clips a day, enough for a few Reels a week if you plan the shots before you spend.

Limits checked October 2026 on Google's Flow credits page, Flow models page, Flow get-started page and Gemini limits page, Leonardo's pricing, Kling's Credits Policy and credit cost guide, Hailuo's subscription terms and CapCut's export help page. Free allowances change often, so the linked pages are the source of truth.

This is the zero-budget route through our AI influencer video generators ranking, which compares the paid tools. The full production method, with prompt formulas and paid cost per clip, is in how to make AI influencer videos. This page covers one thing: getting consistent persona clips out of free tiers, and the arithmetic that tells you how many.

What changed: Kling and Hailuo are no longer daily

Most free-stack guides still say to collect daily credits on Kling and Hailuo. That advice is out of date, and following it leaves you with a handful of watermarked clips a month.

Free routeWhat you getThe catch
Google Flow50 credits every day, with or without a subscriptionNo rollover; video may be unavailable around 2 PM to 5 PM UTC; 720p only
Gemini app or Flow imagesNano Banana 2 image generation at standard limits; Nano Banana 2 Lite at no charge in FlowGoogle publishes no daily number; limits refresh every five hours up to a weekly cap
Leonardo150 fast tokens a dayFree creations are public; token cost varies by model and settings
KlingSign-up credits; Kling says returning users can claim a free allowance each monthAmount not published, and the plan table lists no monthly credits; watermark; not for commercial use
HailuoOne welcome package of credits for new usersExpires three days after it is granted; downloads are watermarked

Kling's Credits Policy lists daily login credits as something subscribers claim. Its plan table gives the free Basic plan no monthly credits, and its FAQ says only that new users get sign-up credits and returning users can claim a free allowance each month, in an amount it does not publish. Hailuo's terms give new users one welcome package that expires after three days. The only free video allowance that refreshes every day for everyone is Google Flow's, so the stack below is built on it.

What you will have at the end

After one week on this plan you will have a saved set of reference stills for one persona, a folder of 720p vertical clips that all show the same face, and two or three edited short videos ready to post with an AI label. You will also know your own keep rate, which is the number that decides whether paying ever makes sense.

Before you start
  • A Google account, age 18 or over, in a country Flow supports
  • A one-paragraph persona brief: adult, fictional, one niche, one look
  • CapCut installed on your phone or computer
  • A shot list of eight to ten single-action shots
  • A notes file for every prompt and setting that works
  • A decision that every clip gets the AI label before it is posted

How to make AI influencer videos for free: the zero-budget stack

The whole pipeline is five moves, and only one of them spends a limited credit.

The free pipeline
  1. 1
    Generate the stills

Nano Banana 2 in the Gemini app or Flow, or Leonardo on 150 daily tokens. Result: twenty candidate images of one face.

  2. 2
    Pick the reference set

Keep five or six that match: front, two three-quarter views, a profile, two expressions. Result: a folder you never change.

  3. 3
    Draft in Flow at 360p

Start each clip from a still, one action per shot. Result: you know which prompts hold the face, for 4 credits each.

  4. 4
    Render finals at 720p

Rerun only the drafts that worked. Result: three or four clean 8-second clips a day.

  5. 5
    Cut in CapCut

Trim, order, caption and export without Pro items. Result: a finished vertical video.

  6. 6
    Label and post

AI label on, AI stated in the bio. Result: a post that stays within the rules.

Step 1: create the persona stills for free

Use an image model for the face, because video credits are too scarce to spend on finding it. Google's Gemini limits page lists image generation with Nano Banana 2 as a Gemini app feature and gives accounts without a plan "standard limits" that refresh every five hours until a weekly cap; Google does not publish the number. Inside Flow, the models page says Nano Banana 2 Lite is the default image model available at no charge.

Leonardo is the alternative: 150 fast tokens a day on the free plan. Two things to know before you rely on it. Free creations are public, and Leonardo's FAQ says it holds rights to free-tier images while granting you a licence for commercial use. Our free AI Influencer Prompt Generator writes the persona prompt in each model's format, Nano Banana included.

Step 2: build the reference set

Generate the same person from several angles until you have five or six images that agree: one sharp front-facing main image, two three-quarter views, one profile and two expressions, all in soft, even light. If the face drifts between stills, it will drift harder in motion. The methods for holding a face across images are compared in our consistent character AI guide.

Expected result: a folder you treat as fixed. Every video for the rest of the week starts from these files and nothing else.

Step 3: animate in Google Flow on 50 credits a day

Open Flow, choose Video, and add a still with "Add start frame" or as an ingredient, which is Flow's name for a reference image. Pick Gemini Omni Flash: Flow's models page says all users can access Gemini Omni models, and Omni Flash supports first frames and ingredients at 4, 6, 8 or 10 seconds in both aspect ratios. Flow's help also says you can attach a voice reference to Omni generations that use ingredients, which keeps one voice across clips.

Before you press generate, open the video preferences and set three things: vertical aspect ratio, generation length, and number of outputs to one.

One gap in Google's own documentation: the Flow get-started page still lists a Google AI subscription as a requirement, while the credits page says you receive 50 credits a day "with or without a subscription". If your account will not generate, check the supported-country list and the time of day before assuming you need to pay.

The daily-limit math: clips per day on free credits

Fifty credits is a budget, and the table below is every way to spend it. Credits per generation come from Google's Flow credits page; the clips per day are our division.

Three rules fall out of those numbers:

  • Draft at 360p. A 4-second draft costs 4 credits against 7 at 720p. Test the prompt cheaply, then render the keeper once.
  • Eight seconds is the efficient length. It gives the most footage per day at 720p, 32 seconds, and one 8-second shot cuts into two usable beats.
  • Leave Veo 3.1 Quality alone. At 100 credits it costs two full days of allowance, which free accounts cannot bank because nothing rolls over.

A week of persona video on free credits

Seven days, zero dollars
  1. Day 1
    Lock the stills

Generate candidates, choose the reference set, write the shot list. Spend the day's video credits on two or three test drafts.

  2. Day 2
Draft the shot list at 360p

Twelve 4-second drafts for 48 credits. Mark the prompts where the face held.

  3. Days 3 to 6
    Render finals at 720p

Four 8-second takes a day for 48 credits. Four days gives 16 takes and 128 seconds of footage.

  4. Day 7
    Cut and schedule

Edit the keepers into short videos in CapCut. Log your keep rate for next week.

Source: Credit costs from the Google Flow credits page, checked October 2026

What that produces depends on your keep rate. If half the takes hold the face, an illustrative figure and not a promise, 128 seconds of footage becomes about a minute you can use: three 20-second videos. If you keep one take in four, it is one or two. Track the real number; it is the most useful thing the free week teaches you.

Work around the clock, too. Google says accounts without a subscription may not be able to generate video during peak hours, roughly 2 PM to 5 PM UTC, and that non-subscribers can still generate images then. Do your stills in that window and your video outside it.

Steps 5 and 6: edit in CapCut, then label and post

Import the clips into CapCut as ordinary media and keep the edit plain: trim each take to its best two or three seconds, cut on movement so small face differences are hidden, and use one colour look for every clip. Open on the take that matches the main reference best.

The export is where free edits go wrong. CapCut's help page says the Pro prompt appears when a project contains a premium element: a Pro-badged template, effect, font, music track or sticker, an AI tool, or a 4K or 60fps export on desktop. Remove the Pro item and the prompt goes away. On mobile, cancelling the prompt still exports the video, but with a CapCut watermark.

Then label it. Instagram requires an AI label on photorealistic video made with AI, and our Instagram AI label guide shows where the switch is. Every Flow output also carries an invisible SynthID watermark, whatever you do with the visible one.

What the free route costs you, and what it does not
You give up
  • 1080p: upscaling in Flow needs a subscription
  • Peak hours: video may be blocked 2 PM to 5 PM UTC
  • Banking: unused daily credits are lost
  • Clean files on Kling and Hailuo free tiers
  • Clear commercial rights on some tools
You still get
  • Reference-based video on Gemini Omni Flash
  • Three to seven 720p clips every day
  • A voice reference on ingredient generations
  • A visible-watermark toggle in most countries
  • A real test of the persona before you spend

Troubleshooting the free stack

  • Credits gone by mid-morning. You are drafting at 720p or generating two outputs per request. Draft at 360p and set outputs to one.
  • Video will not generate in the afternoon. That is the peak-hour restriction for accounts without a subscription. Come back after 5 PM UTC.
  • The face changes when the head turns. The model has not seen that angle. Add a three-quarter or profile still as an ingredient, and shorten the shot.
  • Each clip looks like a different person. A clip was made from text alone, or from a new still. Go back to the fixed reference set.
  • CapCut asks for Pro at export. Something in the timeline carries a Pro badge. Remove it and export again.
  • The clip looks soft on a phone. 720p is the free ceiling. Frame the persona closer and avoid zooming in during the edit.

When free stops being enough

Free tiers are for proving three things: the face holds, the format works, and you will keep showing up. Once those are true, the limits start costing you more in time than a plan costs in money. The usual triggers are a sponsored post that needs clear commercial terms, a posting schedule the daily credits cannot feed, or a need for 1080p. In Flow the first paid step, Google AI Plus, adds 200 monthly credits and 1080p upscaling at no credit cost.

Before you pay for anything, compare every free allowance in our free AI video generators comparison. And when you want the persona to survive past reference images, with a trained face, a fixed voice and a weekly production routine, that is what our AI Influencers program teaches.

Free AI influencer videos: FAQ

Can you really make AI influencer videos for free?

Yes, within daily limits. Free image tools cover the persona stills, Google Flow gives every account 50 video credits a day, and CapCut's free editor handles the cut. On Google's published credit costs that is three to seven short 720p clips a day. What free does not give you is 1080p, reliable peak-hour access or, on some tools, the right to use the output commercially. Checked October 2026.

What is the best free AI influencer video generator?

For a persona, Google Flow. Its help pages say all users can access Gemini Omni models, and Gemini Omni Flash accepts reference images, which Flow calls ingredients, so each clip can start from the same face. Flow also refreshes 50 credits every day, where Kling's free allowance is monthly at best and Hailuo's is a one-time pack that expires after three days.

How many free AI videos can I make per day?

In Google Flow, 50 credits a day buys seven 4-second, four 8-second or three 10-second Gemini Omni Flash clips at 720p, or twelve 4-second drafts at 360p. Veo 3.1 Lite costs 10 credits a generation, so five a day. Credits are charged per generation, one request can produce two videos, and unused credits do not roll over to the next day.

Is there a free AI influencer video generator without a watermark?

Partly. Google Flow lets you switch the visible watermark off in most countries, though it is applied automatically in India, South Korea and Vietnam, and every Flow output carries an invisible SynthID mark you cannot remove. Free Hailuo downloads are watermarked, and Kling lists watermark removal as a premium-only function. Cropping a watermark out does not change the licence you were given.

Are Kling and Hailuo still free?

Not in the daily way older guides describe. Kling's Credits Policy reserves daily login credits for subscribers, and its plan table gives the free Basic plan no monthly credits. Its FAQ mentions sign-up credits and a free allowance you can claim each month, in an amount it does not publish. Hailuo gives new users one welcome package of credits that expires three days after it is granted. Both are fine for a test, and neither can carry a posting schedule.

Can I use free AI influencer videos for brand deals?

Check each tool's terms before you do. Kling says content from its free Basic plan is not for commercial use. Hailuo states commercial rights only for content made on a paid plan. Leonardo gives free users a licence for commercial use but keeps free creations public. For sponsored work, the simple rule is to produce on a plan whose terms clearly allow it.

Do I need to label free AI influencer videos?

Yes, the rules do not depend on what you paid. Instagram requires a label on photorealistic video made or altered with AI, and a realistic persona clip is exactly that. Turn the AI label on for every clip and say the persona is AI in the bio. Files from Google Flow also carry an invisible SynthID mark, so assume platforms can tell.
