Aitana Lopez's earnings are known only from her own agency: The Clueless told Euronews in November 2023 that she averaged around €3,000 a month and reached up to €10,000 in her best one, at just over €1,000 per advert. The widely repeated $11,000 is that single best month in dollars. No later earnings figure, cost or brand-versus-subscription split has been published. Her Instagram showed 404K followers on 11 October 2026.
Aitana Lopez's earnings are on record from one source, her own agency: in November 2023 The Clueless told Euronews that she usually averaged around €3,000 a month and could reach up to €10,000. The $11,000 in the best-known headlines is that single best month converted to dollars, and nothing newer has been published: not for 2024, not for 2025, not for 2026.
Compiled on 11 October 2026 from Euronews (22 November 2023, updated 27 December 2024), Fortune (23 November 2023, 12 January 2024, 21 February 2024), AFP via The Daily Star (7 April 2024), Euronews Culture (25 April 2024), Fanvue's blog (20 May 2026), The Clueless's own site and Aitana page, and her Instagram profile. Every figure below names who said it.
Aitana Lopez (Aitana López in Spanish) is an AI-generated fitness and gaming persona run from Barcelona, and one of the most cited examples in any argument about what AI influencers earn. That makes the quality of the numbers matter. This page separates what her creators, the outlets that interviewed them and her own profile have actually stated from what has only been repeated. It is one case study inside our AI persona business playbook, which covers the business models behind accounts like this one.
Aitana Lopez earnings: the figures on record
Three numbers, all from one interview, all supplied by the people who run the account.
- Best month cited: up to €10,000
- Fee per advert: just over €1,000
- Stated by her creators at The Clueless; unaudited
Source: Euronews, 22 November 2023
Here is every earnings figure we could trace to a named publication, in date order. Read down the last column and one pattern is clear: the later entries are the first entries again.
| Figure | Who stated it | Published | What it is |
|---|---|---|---|
| Up to €10,000 in a month | Her creators at The Clueless | Euronews, 22 Nov 2023 | A ceiling. Fortune's account of the same interview says she took in €10,000 "on one occasion" |
| Around €3,000 a month on average | Her creators at The Clueless | Euronews, 22 Nov 2023 | The usual month, by the agency's own description |
| Just over €1,000 per advert | Stated in the Euronews story | Euronews, 22 Nov 2023 | Her fee for one advertising post at the time |
| "Most of this money comes from social media ads" | Diana Núñez, co-founder, to Fortune | Fortune, 23 Nov 2023 | The only public statement on the income mix |
| "Up to $11,000 a month" | Fortune headline | Fortune, 23 Nov 2023 | The €10,000 month in dollars ($10,900), rounded up |
| "Roughly $3,300 a month on average" | Fortune, in its own narration | Fortune, 12 Jan 2024 | The €3,000 average in dollars |
| "$11,000 in one month last year" | Fortune, in its own narration | Fortune, 21 Feb 2024 | The same single month, restated |
| "Up to €10,000 a month" | Euronews Culture, in its own narration | Euronews, 25 Apr 2024 | The 2023 ceiling, repeated in a story about Miss AI |
| "As much as $11,000 per month" | Fanvue blog, citing the New York Post | Fanvue, 20 May 2026 | The 2023 ceiling again, two and a half years on |
None of these outlets says it saw invoices, platform statements or accounts. Fortune's first story relies on the Euronews interview for the income numbers. They are the owners' description of their own project, which is useful, and not the same thing as verified revenue.
Where the $11,000 headline comes from
The best-known number about Aitana is a currency conversion of her best month. Fortune's November 2023 article reports that Cruz told Euronews she "brings in an average of €3,000 ($3,300) a month" but "on one occasion took in €10,000 ($10,900)". The headline on that same article reads "up to $11,000 a month".
- 01The interview
Her creators give Euronews an average and a peak
- 02The conversion
€10,000 becomes $10,900
- 03The headline
Rounded to "up to $11,000 a month"
- 04The repeats
Later stories mostly restate the peak, not the average
- 05October 2026
Still the only figure in circulation
Nothing here is false. "Up to" is accurate. But a reader who takes $11,000 as her monthly income has the figure wrong by a factor of more than three, using the agency's own average. When Fanvue published a documentary post about her in May 2026, the earnings line it used was still "as much as $11,000 per month", sourced to a newspaper article rather than to new data.
Aitana Lopez income: brand deals versus subscriptions
Her creators say most of it is advertising, and nobody has published the split. That is the full public record on the income mix.
- Advertising. Co-founder Diana Núñez told Fortune in November 2023 that "most of this money comes from social media ads". Euronews put the fee at just over €1,000 per advert.
- An ambassador deal. Euronews reported that she had recently become the face of Big, a sports supplement company. Fortune described the same deal without naming the brand.
- A subscription page. Euronews reported that she also had a paid page on Fanvue, a subscription platform. No subscriber count or subscription revenue has been published.

Aitana Lopez AI model: followers over time
Follower counts are the one part of this story anyone can check. Four dated readings exist, three from news reports and one from the profile itself.
AFP and Euronews wrote "more than"; the Euronews figure is from its story as updated on that date. Source: Fortune, AFP, Euronews and Instagram, checked 11 October 2026
The shape matters more than the total. The account went from 122,000 to more than 300,000 in under five months after the first wave of press, then from 343,000-plus to 404K over roughly the next 21 months: about 60,000 more. Press attention built the audience quickly; it did not keep compounding at that rate. The earnings figures all date from the 122,000-follower stage, so they tell you nothing about what a 404K account brings in today.
Her profile bio now reads "Virtual fitness & lifestyle", credits The Clueless, and names her an ambassador for the agency's own software brand.
The Clueless: the agency behind Aitana
Aitana is a company project, not a solo creator's side income. Euronews named designer Rubén Cruz as founder of The Clueless, with designer Diana Núñez and social media manager Sofía Novales; Fortune and AFP describe Núñez as a co-founder, and AFP calls Novales project manager.
- Why they built her. The agency told Euronews it had few clients and kept seeing projects put on hold or cancelled for reasons beyond its control, so it made its own influencer to offer brands. Cruz: "We did it so that we could make a better living". Núñez told Fortune the pair were struck by the "skyrocketing costs" of human influencers.
- How she is produced. Per Euronews, a weekly meeting decides what she does and where she goes, and AI and design specialists build the images in Photoshop; there are no photo shoots. Cruz's line on the method: "people follow lives, not images".
- What it led to. Euronews reported that the agency was "inundated with requests" from brands wanting their own virtual models, and that more characters followed, including one named Maia.
- The agency now. Its site, checked October 2026, describes "a new media tech agency", advertises more than 100 avatars and its own AI software, lists Barcelona, Mexico, England and the United Arab Emirates, and shows client logos that include Audi, Amazon, L'Oréal, Coca-Cola and Banco Santander. The site does not say which clients worked with Aitana.
Fanvue's May 2026 post describes her as "the product of an entire team of creative directors, art directors, video editors, writers, and strategists". That sentence is the most important context for the earnings figures: whatever came in had a team's time, software and overhead to cover first.

What is on record and what is not
- Any earnings figure for 2024, 2025 or 2026
- The split between brand deals and subscriptions
- Subscriber numbers or subscription revenue
- Costs: staff time, software, production
- Profit, or what any individual is paid
- Audited or platform-confirmed revenue
- Which agency clients booked Aitana herself
- About €3,000 in a usual month (agency, 2023)
- Up to €10,000 in the best month (agency, 2023)
- Just over €1,000 per advert (Euronews, 2023)
- Most income from social media ads (co-founder, 2023)
- A sports supplement ambassador deal and a subscription page
- 404K Instagram followers on 11 October 2026
- Built and run by a team at The Clueless
We are not going to fill the left column with estimates. Sites that publish a current monthly income or a net worth for Aitana do not cite where the number came from, and a fictional character does not have a net worth in any case: the money belongs to a company whose accounts are not in the public material we read.
Method and limitations
- What we read. The ten sources linked at the top, on 11 October 2026: two Euronews stories, three Fortune articles, one AFP report, one Fanvue blog post, two pages of the agency's site and her Instagram profile.
- What we left out. Aggregator posts that repeat the 2023 figures without attribution, unsourced net worth pages, and outlets whose pages we could not load to read for ourselves.
- Currency. Figures are shown in the currency each source used. Dollar equivalents are Fortune's, not ours.
- Followers. Three of the four readings are as reported by news outlets, two of them as "more than" a round number. The Euronews page carries both a 2023 publication date and a December 2024 update, so we date its follower figure to the update.
- The limit that matters. Everything about money traces to one interview given by the people with the most reason to present the project well. There is no independent confirmation, and there may be Spanish-language reporting we did not reach.
The realistic expectations lesson
Aitana is usually offered as proof that an AI influencer is easy money. Read closely, the same record says something more useful.
- The famous number was a peak. By the agency's own account, the usual month was under a third of the best one.
- It was team revenue. Designers, a social media manager and weekly planning meetings stand behind every post. Divide accordingly.
- The persona was a showcase. The public record suggests the larger prize was what came next: brands asking for their own virtual models, and an agency that now sells avatars and software to companies. Aitana's account works as its portfolio.
- Attention arrived with the press. The follower jump followed international coverage of a novel story. That is hard to plan for and harder to repeat.
- Nothing recent is public. Every money figure dates from 2023, when the account was under a third of its current size. Nobody outside the agency knows what it earns now.
For the wider picture, our review of what the public AI influencer income numbers show sets this case beside the other named figures, and the guide to landing AI influencer brand deals covers the revenue line her creators said mattered most. If a subscription page is part of your plan, read the Fanvue AI content policy first. And if you want to build the thing rather than read about it, the AI Influencers program covers creating the persona, keeping the face consistent and the social strategy and monetization modules that turn an account into a business.
Aitana Lopez: FAQ
How much does Aitana Lopez earn?
The only figures on record come from her own agency. In November 2023 Rubén Cruz, founder of The Clueless, told Euronews she could earn up to €10,000 a month but usually averaged around €3,000, and the same story put her fee at just over €1,000 per advert. Those numbers are unaudited, and no figure for 2024, 2025 or 2026 has been published in the sources we read.
Who created Aitana Lopez?
The Clueless, an agency based in Barcelona. Euronews named designer Rubén Cruz as its founder, with designer Diana Núñez and social media manager Sofía Novales on the team; Fortune and AFP describe Núñez as a co-founder. The agency told Euronews it built Aitana after client projects were put on hold or cancelled for reasons beyond its control, so that it would have a model of its own for brands.
How does Aitana Lopez make money?
According to her creators, mainly from advertising. Co-founder Diana Núñez told Fortune in November 2023 that most of the money came from social media ads, and Euronews reported a deal as the face of the sports supplement company Big plus a paid subscription page on Fanvue. Nobody has published the split between brand deals and subscriptions, so any percentage you see quoted is a guess.
How many followers does Aitana Lopez have?
Her Instagram profile, fit_aitana, showed 404K followers when we checked on 11 October 2026. Earlier reports trace the growth: Fortune counted 122,000 on 23 November 2023, AFP reported more than 300,000 on 7 April 2024, and Euronews's story, as updated on 27 December 2024, says more than 343,000. The profile bio describes her as virtual and credits The Clueless.
What is Aitana Lopez's net worth?
There is no such figure. Aitana is a fictional character operated by a company, so income from her account is agency revenue, not personal wealth, and The Clueless has not published its accounts in the material we read. Net worth numbers on other sites do not cite a source. The only sourced money figures are the monthly and per-advert numbers her creators gave Euronews in 2023.
Is Aitana Lopez a real person?
No. She is an AI-generated character, presented as a pink-haired fitness and gaming enthusiast from Barcelona. The Clueless describes her as Spain's first 100% AI-generated influencer, and her Instagram bio says virtual. Euronews reported that her images are made by AI and design specialists using Photoshop, with no photo shoots, and that the team meets weekly to plan what her life looks like.
