Invideo AI is now an agent-led editor: Agent Two plans the video, pulls stock footage and music, and generates shots with models such as Seedance 2.5, all paid in credits. Plans are Starter ($20 a seat a month, 400 credits), Plus ($60, 2,000) and Max ($150, 5,000), with half-price annual billing; Seedance 2.5 needs Plus. Free exports carry watermarks, and a refund is only possible within seven days if nothing was generated or downloaded. Read on invideo's own pages on 16 October 2026; not a hands-on test.
The invideo AI video generator is a credit-based video editor with an AI agent, Agent Two, that plans a video, pulls stock footage and music, and generates shots with models such as ByteDance's Seedance 2.5. It suits people who make script-led explainer and marketing videos; it is a costly way to buy raw AI clips, because generation is charged at the model provider's list price on top of a monthly plan. Plans run from $20 to $150 a seat a month, and Seedance 2.5 starts on the $60 Plus plan.
This review is built from invideo's own pages, checked October 2026 (16 October): pricing, Agent Two, the help centre on the free plan, credits, watermarks and refunds, and the Terms and Conditions (last updated 8 July 2026). We have not run projects in it, so it covers plans, limits and terms, not output quality.

What the invideo AI video generator does today
Invideo is no longer a template editor with an AI script button. Its Agent Two page describes an agent that reads uploaded videos, scripts, PDFs, links and rough cuts, and is "built on every frontier model: Claude, Gemini, GPT". It pulls footage and a music bed from a library of 16 million premium clips, images and tracks from providers including Shutterstock and iStock, and lays the result out in an editor called Slate.
- 01Brief the agent
A prompt, script, PDF, link or rough cut. Playbooks hold the standing rules for a project.
- 02Agent plans and sources
Agent Two writes the structure and pulls stock footage and music.
- 03Generate missing shots
Seedance, Kling, Veo or image models, charged per second or per image in credits.
- 04Edit on the timeline
Trim, split and rearrange in Slate. Manual editing uses no credits.
- 05Export
Exporting and downloading use no credits. Free-plan exports keep watermarks.
The agent runs in three tiers. Invideo's credit guide calls Lite "fast and credit-efficient", Pro premium quality at a higher cost per generation, and Ultra an upgrade on top of Pro with 4K video and upscaled images. Starter gets Lite only. By default the agent generates without asking; switch the permission toggle in the chat box to approve each video generation, which shows the prompt, model, duration and aspect ratio before you spend credits.
Separate generators sit under Agents & Models, where you pick a model, write a prompt and check the credit cost before you generate. Invideo's credits article says these are priced at the provider's list price and per second for video: "A quick Kling 2.6 Standard video might cost 0.5 credits, while a Veo 3.1 4K video with audio can cost 10+ credits."
Invideo AI plans and prices
Every paid plan is priced per seat and paid in credits, and the plan decides which models you can run. The figures below are from the pricing page.
| Plan | Price | Credits a seat a month | Models and stock | Storage and seats |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0, no card | Limited, amount not published; resets weekly | Not stated | Exports carry watermarks |
| Starter | $20 a seat a month, or $10 billed annually | 400 | Seedance 2.0 Fast and 2.0 Mini. Agent Two Lite only. 100 premium stock footage | 200 GB, up to 5 seats |
| Plus | $60 a seat a month, or $30 billed annually | 2,000 | Seedance 2.5 (1080p) and 2.0 (4K). Agent Two Lite, Pro and Ultra. 200 premium stock footage | 600 GB, up to 10 seats, 10 guest seats |
| Max | $150 a seat a month, or $75 billed annually | 5,000 | All Seedance models, early access, lowest cost per credit. 500 premium stock footage | 2,000 GB, up to 20 seats, 20 guest seats |
Sources: invideo pricing and free plan help, checked October 2026. Annual prices are per seat per month, billed yearly. The pricing page was running an offer of unlimited image models for 30 days on annual plans.

Read the credit rules before you pick. Plan credits reset monthly and do not roll over. Extra credits bought separately last up to 12 months or until the subscription ends, whichever comes first. The pricing FAQ adds: "We reserve the right to update credit costs at any time, without prior notice."
What a month of credits buys
Generation is where the credits go. The pricing page's own comparison shows how many clips and images each plan's monthly credits cover.
| Generation | Cost | Starter | Plus | Max |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Seedance 2.5 at 1080p | About 96 credits per 5 s | Not on Starter | 20 | 52 |
| Seedance 2.5 at 720p | About 56 credits per 5 s | Not on Starter | 35 | 89 |
| Seedance 2.5 Draft | About 24.5 credits per 5 s | Not on Starter | 81 | 204 |
| Nano Banana Pro image | About 2.5 credits | 160 | 800 | 2,000 |
Source: invideo pricing comparison table, checked October 2026. The pricing calculator puts a Seedance 2.0 Fast video at about 30 credits, so Starter's 400 credits cover about 13.
Put plainly, Plus buys about 20 five-second Seedance 2.5 clips at 1080p a month, around 100 seconds of generated footage. That is enough to fill gaps in a stock-led video and nowhere near enough to build every shot from generation. Manual timeline editing and exporting are free of credits, so the agent and the models are the meter.
Watermarks, exports and the free plan
The free plan needs no card and gives "limited credits to explore the platform", reset weekly on Monday at 12 a.m. UTC. Invideo does not publish the amount. Free accounts can use AI models within those credits, generate images and share videos on social media.

Stock media licence and rights in your videos
The terms treat your outputs and the stock library differently, and the difference matters for ads.
- You keep ownership of uploads, and of outputs and designs, subject to the terms
- Invideo assigns you any rights it holds in outputs you generate
- A perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use and commercialise outputs
- Outputs may not be unique, and similar results give no exclusive rights
- Invideo will not use your user data to train or fine-tune its models
- Stock images, video, audio and fonts come from invideo or its licensors
- Your rights are limited to the scope of those third-party licences
- No exclusivity over stock content or AI-generated variants of it
- Outputs that include stock are subject to the stock licence terms
- Paid plans cap premium stock footage: 100, 200 or 500 a month
The terms also make AI disclosure your job where law or industry standards require it, and require consent from any identifiable person whose face, voice or likeness appears in your content. A custom avatar built from your own face or voice needs a separate consent step in the product. US, Canadian and Mexican users contract with Invideo Inc. under Delaware law; most others with Invideo Innovation Pte. Ltd. under Singapore law.
Invideo refund terms
Assume you will not get a refund once you have generated anything. The terms say fees are non-refundable for the period bought, with one exception: a request within seven days of a purchase or renewal, if you have not used any credits or premium features. The refund article counts a subscription as used if "any video or assets has been generated or downloaded" in the billing period, reviews requests case by case, and sends them to support@invideo.io. There are no partial refunds, credits are non-refundable, and Apple handles iOS purchases.
- 1Start on the free plan
Spend the weekly credits on one short project to learn the agent and the editor.
- 2Set the agent to ask before generating
Use the permission toggle so every video generation shows its model, duration and cost first.
- 3Set a credit limit per project
The credit guide shows a per-project spending limit.
- 4Buy one month, not a year
Annual billing halves the price but locks in a plan whose credit costs can change.
- 5Export everything before you cancel
Cancellation keeps the plan to the end of the cycle; lapsed edits need a paid plan to download clean.
Who invideo AI suits
It fits faceless explainer channels, product and marketing videos, and teams that share one workspace, where a script becomes a full video built mostly from stock with a few generated shots. Our faceless YouTube guide covers that kind of channel. It fits less well for a recurring AI character, where every shot is generated from consistent stills: that pipeline, from character design to image-to-video in Kling and Runway, is what the AI Influencers program teaches, and buying generation directly costs less per second.

Invideo AI video generator: FAQ
Is invideo AI free?
There is a free plan with no card needed, but it is small. Invideo's help centre says it gives limited credits to explore the platform, resetting weekly on Monday at 12 a.m. UTC, and it does not publish the amount. Projects exported before you subscribe keep their watermarks. Paid plans start with Starter at $20 a seat a month, checked October 2026.
How much does invideo AI cost?
Invideo's pricing page lists Starter at $20 a seat a month or $10 billed annually, Plus at $60 or $30, and Max at $150 or $75. They include 400, 2,000 and 5,000 credits a seat a month. Unused credits do not roll over, and invideo says it may change credit costs without notice. Checked October 2026.
Does invideo AI add a watermark?
On exports made without a paid plan, yes. Invideo's help centre says projects exported before subscribing still contain watermarks, and that re-exporting after subscribing removes them. Watermarks always show in the preview and are removed on a paid export. After a plan lapses, edited videos need a paid plan again to download without one. Checked October 2026.
Which AI video models does invideo use?
Its pricing page lists Seedance 2.0 Fast and 2.0 Mini on Starter, and Seedance 2.5 at 1080p and Seedance 2.0 at 4K on Plus and Max. Help articles cover Kling and Veo 3.1 as well, priced per second at the provider's list price. Agent Two, the assistant that plans and edits, is built on Claude, Gemini and GPT models.
Can I get a refund from invideo?
Only if you have not used the plan. Invideo's terms allow a refund request within seven days of a purchase or renewal if no credits or premium features were used, and its help centre counts any generated or downloaded video or asset as use. There are no partial refunds, and credits are non-refundable. Apple handles iOS refunds. Checked October 2026.
Can I use invideo videos commercially?
Yes for outputs. Invideo's terms give you a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use and commercialise outputs and assign any rights it holds in them. Stock media is the exception: your rights in licensed content stay limited to the third-party licences, with no exclusivity, so check them before using a clip in an ad. Checked October 2026.
Does invideo train AI on my videos?
Its terms say invideo will not use your user data, which includes uploads, prompts, outputs and designs, to train or fine-tune its AI models. It does keep the right to use de-identified or aggregated usage information for analytics, security and service improvement. Custom avatars need a separate consent step before your face or voice is processed.
