How it works
Fanvue describes itself as a social subscription platform for every kind of creator, human or AI. A creator sets a monthly price, fans can follow for free, and full access needs a paid subscription. Creators can also earn from tips and from pay-per-view messages and content sales. The platform is for people aged 18 or over and hosts adult content, so it checks the identity of the person behind each creator account.
What sets it apart is its written position on AI. Its help centre says AI creators are a fully recognised and verified category and that every AI creator account carries an AI tag in the profile bio. Its Community Guidelines set conditions: a clear and prominent disclosure on all AI-generated media, no impersonation of real individuals other than the account owner, no AI-generated individual who resembles a minor, and review by its moderation team. Breaking them can lead to content removal, suspension or a permanent ban.
An AI persona does not pass verification. The human owner does, with a government-issued ID or passport and a matching selfie, even when their face never appears in the content. The persona itself must be a fictional adult who reads as an adult, and it must never use a real person's face, name or likeness without written permission. Content involving minors or a youthful appearance is illegal and banned. Disclosure: IImagined's resources page links to Fanvue with a referral code.
A worked example
A first-time operator lists what has to be true before a made-up AI persona can take its first payout on Fanvue.
- Identity: she verifies with her own passport and a selfie. The persona's name appears on the page, her legal name on the account.
- Disclosure: the bio says in its first line that the creator is AI-generated, and the AI tag shows on the profile.
- Content: she uploads 5 pieces of content, each generated from her written character description and none from a real person's photos.
- Balance: with a made-up $25 in the available balance she is above the minimum the payout guide gives, so she can request a payout.

Common mistakes
- Assuming an AI persona means no identity check. The account owner is verified like any creator.
- Putting the AI disclosure in the bio only. The rule covers all AI-generated media.
- Building the persona from a real person's photos. A real body with an AI face is treated as a real person who must be verified.
- Relying on the prompt to settle age. The rule is about what the image looks like.
- Letting the persona tell fans it is a real person in posts or chats.
Questions people ask
Does Fanvue allow AI-generated creators?
Yes. Its help centre calls AI creators a fully recognised and verified category, and its Community Guidelines set the conditions: clear disclosure, no impersonation of real people, no resemblance to minors and moderation review.
What cut does Fanvue take?
The standard rate is published in its Creator Earnings and Payouts policy. The figure and the policy's date are in the sources on this page. Fanvue says it may also run a temporary promotional rate.
Do I need to show my identity to run an AI creator account on Fanvue?
To Fanvue, yes. Its guide for AI creators asks for a government-issued ID or passport and a selfie even if your face is not in the content, and says the information is not shown on your profile.
