Calculate interactions per view for one TikTok video using your own counts. No account connection or industry ranking is implied.
(Likes + Comments + Shares + Saves) ÷ Views × 100 = Engagement Rate %
This tool divides a video's interactions by its views. Per-follower and per-reach formulas also exist; they measure different things. Every included action has equal weight here, not an assumed algorithm weight.
A video with 1,200 likes, 45 comments, 87 shares, and 32 saves has 1,364 interactions. With 24,500 views, the rate is 1,364 / 24,500 x 100 = 5.5673%, displayed as 5.57%.
There is no universal good rate for every niche, format, audience, or video age. Compare similar videos using the same metrics and observation window. A low percentage alone does not establish throttling, suppression, or the cause of a reach change.
Views may include repeat viewing, and interactions are actions rather than unique people. This rate is not the percentage of viewers who engaged. Missing saves and shares are excluded, not fetched or estimated; include the same metrics when comparing results.
Our Instagram engagement rate calculator uses followers. Its percentage is not directly comparable to this per-view rate.
