Fanfix is a safe-for-work subscription platform where fans pay creators for exclusive content, paid messages and locked posts. It is for adults aged 18 or over, bans nudity, and creators apply to join. Creators receive 80% and Fanfix keeps 20%. Payouts run through Stripe and are processed weekly, per its FAQ. AI characters are allowed as labelled Digital Personas that never claim to be human.
Fanfix is a subscription platform where fans pay creators a recurring membership for exclusive content, paid direct messages and locked posts. It is safe-for-work and bans nudity, it is still limited to adults aged 18 or over, creators apply to join, and its terms pay the creator 80% of what fans pay. Below: who runs it, what it allows, what creators keep, how payouts work, its identity checks, its AI rules, and how it compares with Fanvue and OnlyFans.
Checked 13 October 2026 against Fanfix's own public pages: its home page, FAQ, General Terms of Service (last updated August 20, 2026), Terms of Use for Creators (August 1, 2026), Terms of Use for Fans (January 29, 2026), Payment Terms and Conditions (August 16, 2024), Content Guidelines (July 1, 2026) and Privacy Policy. I run a creator management agency, so subscription platforms are my daily work, but every fact below comes from the pages linked above and not from that work. This page stays on business, policy and mechanics.

What is Fanfix, and who runs it?
Fanfix's FAQ describes it as "a subscription-based platform that helps creators monetize exclusive, members-only content in a safe-for-work, brand-friendly environment". It is a subscription platform: a fan pays a recurring membership to one creator and gets content that creator does not post elsewhere.
The General Terms of Service are an agreement "between you and FanFix LLC", governed by the laws of the State of New York. The Privacy Policy names "FanFixApp, LLC". Neither page gives a street address or a parent company, so this article does not name one.
- Open an account. You must be 18 or over
- Buy a membership to a creator. It renews until cancelled
- Pay for direct messages and locked content as extras
- Expect a 13% surcharge on a credit card
- Cancel in account settings, a day or more before renewal
- Use it in a browser. It is a web app
- Apply with active social media handles and wait for approval
- Verify age and identity if Fanfix sends you to Persona
- Earn from memberships, paid messages and locked content
- Receive 80% of what fans pay
- Get paid through a Stripe account you set up at onboarding
- Do not promote a rival subscription platform from the account
Fanfix publishes two audience figures, and they differ. Its home page shows "20M+ Fans on Fanfix". Its FAQ refers to "a community of over 15 million creators, entertainers, entrepreneurs, and fans". Both were on the site on 13 October 2026 and neither is dated. The home page and FAQ also carry earnings claims. This article does not repeat them, because a platform's marketing figures say nothing about what a new account will make.
There is no native app yet. The FAQ says "We are a web-based app" and explains how to add the site to a phone's home screen, then adds: "Native iOS app is coming soon."
Does Fanfix allow nudity or adult content?
No. This is the main thing that separates Fanfix from the platforms it gets compared with. Its FAQ says: "Fanfix is a strictly safe-for-work (SFW) platform, designed for verified creators who want to share exclusive content in a brand-friendly environment." The General Terms of Service list "No Nudity" under prohibited content, and the rule covers digitally created content as well as photos and videos.
Safe-for-work does not mean open to minors. The FAQ says: "All fans and creators must be 18 years or older to create an account or use Fanfix." So Fanfix is an 18+ platform that does not host adult content. Fanvue, OnlyFans, Fansly and JustForFans are 18+ platforms that do.
The examples Fanfix gives of what to post are behind-the-scenes content, exclusive photos and videos, early access, personal updates, Q&As and creative projects.
Fanfix fees: what creators pay and keep
Joining costs a creator nothing. The Creator Terms set the split: "Creators receive 80% of direct payment(s) made by Fans through FanFix for Memberships, Direct Messages, Locked Content, and any other Revenue Programs", and "We keep the remaining 20% of every transaction on FanFix".
- Creator share (80%)$8.00
- Fanfix fee (20%)$2.00

Three terms sit around that split, and a creator should read them before applying.
- Fanfix sets the price. The Creator Terms say: "We have the sole discretion to set the fees for all Memberships". Fanfix also sets the minimum price of a paid direct message and of locked content. Creators "may request adjustments", which Fanfix can accept or reject. Fanfix does not publish a price range on the pages read.
- No promoting rival platforms. A creator may not use a Fanfix account to promote "Competitive Platforms", a term the Creator Terms define with Patreon, Passes and OnlyFans as examples. Fees earned while doing so can be withheld, and the General Terms set liquidated damages of $1,000 for each such violation.
- Earnings can be held. Fanfix may withhold or recover creator fees for a suspected breach of its terms, for tax compliance, or where it suspects fraud. A refund can push a balance negative, and Fanfix can recover that from later payments.
Locked content is Fanfix's name for what other platforms call pay-per-view: a message with content behind a one-off price.
How Fanfix pays creators
Payouts go through Stripe. The FAQ says a creator is prompted to create a Stripe account during onboarding, and that "all US and UK based creators can only receive payouts through Stripe". Creators elsewhere are told to contact support about options.
- Any dayA fan pays
Your share is 80% under the Creator Terms.
- WednesdayEarnings are processed
The FAQ says monetized earnings are processed every Wednesday.
- FridayThe deposit usually lands
Typically deposited every Friday into your bank account.
- 3 to 7 days moreSome international regions
A slightly longer delay in processing, still on a weekly cycle.

The FAQ adds that creators "are welcome to adjust the day and interval at which their payouts occur". The Creator Terms are more cautious. They say Fanfix will pay "approximately thirty (30) days after the end of the applicable calendar month or in accordance with other payment schedules" it makes available. Treat the weekly cycle as the normal case and the 30 days as what the contract promises. Fanfix does not publish a minimum payout amount on the pages read.
The FAQ gives two common causes of a delayed payout: a problem with banking details, and tax information that needs updating in Stripe. Fanfix collects tax forms such as a W-9 and does not handle a creator's income tax.
Identity and age checks
Fanfix is an application platform. The Creator Terms say: "Approval of your application to become a Creator is at our sole discretion." The FAQ calls Fanfix invite-only and says an application without valid, active social media handles will not be reviewed.
On identity, the Creator Terms say Fanfix "may direct you to provide information to Persona Identities, Inc." to verify age, identity and eligibility "before, during, and after your Account registration". The Privacy Policy lists a photo ID among the data that check collects. Fans warrant that they are 18 and agree to provide age or identity verification if Fanfix asks.
Fanfix AI rules: are AI creators allowed?
Yes, and Fanfix writes the rule out in detail. Its Content Guidelines, last updated July 1, 2026, say: "A Creator can be a real person or a 'Digital Persona,' including AI-generated or AI-assisted characters and virtual influencers." The person or agency behind a Digital Persona must be at least 18 and is contractually responsible for it.
- Every piece of AI content is clearly labelled, for example "Generated or Augmented with AI"
- The profile carries a clear and conspicuous disclosure
- A chatbot says what it is in its opening message
- The persona never states or implies that it is a real human being
- No real person's likeness, voice or name without that person's written consent
- The persona is never depicted or marketed as under 18
Source: Fanfix Content Guidelines and Terms of Use for Creators, read 13 October 2026
The Creator Terms put the central rule in one sentence: AI content "must never represent or imply that a Digital Persona or chatbot is a real human being". Fanfix also says it may use automated tools to screen messages sent from Digital Persona accounts and images made for them.
That matches how we teach it: a persona is a fictional adult, never built on a real person's face, name or likeness without written permission, and disclosed as AI. Fanfix's no-nudity rule applies to a Digital Persona exactly as it applies to a human creator. For platforms that take a different line, see which platforms allow AI adult content, can you use AI on OnlyFans and is AI adult content legal.
What Fanfix costs fans, and how to cancel
| Item | What Fanfix publishes |
|---|---|
| Opening an account | Free. The Fan Terms say certain parts of Fanfix may be free |
| Membership | A recurring fee shown at purchase. It renews for the same term until cancelled |
| Card surcharge | "We impose a surcharge of 13% on all credit cards" (Payment Terms section 1.5) |
| Paid messages and locked content | Prepaid, priced at purchase, final and non-refundable |
| Cancelling | In account settings, at least one day before renewal. Access runs to the end of the term |
| Refunds | All payments are final. Fanfix may refund at its sole discretion |
| A charge you do not recognise | Tell Fanfix within 30 days of the charge or the claim is waived |
One line in the Fan Terms is worth knowing before you pay for messages: "When interacting with a Creator you may be interacting with one of their agents or an individual other than the owner of the account." Fanfix also says some content may be scripted or fictional. To delete an account, the terms say to email hello@fanfix.io, and a deleted account cannot be reactivated.
Fanfix vs Fanvue vs OnlyFans
The fee is the same on all three. The rules are not. The Fanvue and OnlyFans columns reuse the dated facts on our Fanvue vs OnlyFans comparison, read 13 October 2026.

Who Fanfix suits, and who it does not
- Your content is adult. Fanfix does not allow it
- You want to set your own prices without asking
- You link to another subscription platform from the same audience
- You have no active social accounts to apply with
- You will not label a persona as AI
- Your content is safe-for-work and you want brand deals to stay possible
- You already have a following on social platforms
- You want weekly payouts through Stripe
- You run a labelled, safe-for-work AI persona
- You are 18 or over and will pass an identity check
No policy can tell you whether an audience will pay. That depends on the creator or persona and on what sits behind the paywall, and both are built before the application goes in.
Fanfix: FAQ
What is Fanfix?
Fanfix is a subscription platform where fans pay creators a recurring membership for exclusive content, paid direct messages and locked posts. It describes itself as "strictly safe-for-work", it is for adults aged 18 or over, and creators apply to join. Its Creator Terms pay creators 80% of what fans pay and keep 20%. Its terms name the operator as FanFix LLC.
Is Fanfix like OnlyFans?
In structure, yes: fans pay a monthly price, can buy locked content and paid messages, and the platform keeps 20%. The difference is content. OnlyFans calls itself "the 18 + subscription platform" and hosts adult content. Fanfix calls itself "a strictly safe-for-work (SFW) platform" and its terms have a section headed "No Nudity". Fanfix also bans promoting OnlyFans from a Fanfix account.
Does Fanfix allow nudity?
No. Fanfix's General Terms of Service, last updated August 20, 2026, list "No Nudity" under prohibited content, and its FAQ says "Fanfix is a strictly safe-for-work (SFW) platform". The platform is still restricted to adults: its FAQ says all fans and creators must be 18 or older.
Is Fanfix safe?
Fanfix documents several protections. Payments and payouts run through Stripe, creators can be sent to the identity provider Persona to verify age and identity, and its home page lists screenshot blocking. Its FAQ also names creator moderation, payment protection and watermarks. That is what Fanfix publishes. It is not an independent audit, and we have not tested its payouts.
How does Fanfix pay creators?
Through Stripe. Fanfix's FAQ says earnings are processed every Wednesday and are typically deposited on Friday, with some international regions taking 3 to 7 days longer, and that creators can change the day and interval. Its Creator Terms state the formal position: payment approximately thirty days after the end of the calendar month, or on another schedule Fanfix makes available.
How much does Fanfix take?
Fanfix keeps 20% and the creator receives 80% of what fans pay for memberships, direct messages and locked content, under the Creator Terms last updated August 1, 2026. Fans can pay more than the listed price: the Payment Terms say Fanfix imposes "a surcharge of 13% on all credit cards".
How do I cancel a Fanfix subscription?
Cancel in your account settings. The Payment Terms say you must cancel at least one day before the renewal date to avoid the next charge, and that you keep access until the end of the current term. Membership fees are non-refundable and are not refunded pro rata.
